Tour Itinerary

PS05 - PERU MYSTIC ADVENTURE TOUR
(Ayahuasca Session)
3 nights at the EI

Our MYSTIC ADVENTURE (Ayahuasca Session) Travel program of 3 nights at the Explorers Inn includes(besides the GENERAL SERVICES) the following:

Day 1: Reception at the airport and transfer to PS’s office. From where we will continue in our bus to the dock located in the native community “Infierno” from where we will board our canoe and start a one and a half hour journey to the Explorer`s Inn lodge. During the trip we will have lunch on board (Box Lunch) and will also have the opportunity to see caimans, turtles, capybaras, etc. At arrival we will be received with a welcome drink. After resting a little while we will do a short night hike where we will be able to see some nocturnal animals of the rainforest. . Back at the lodge we will have dinner with our experienced guide and some of the RNs who will be available to answer any of our questions or brief us about the Amazon rainforest and the Tambopata National Reserve.

Day 2: To be able to observe otters we will have to wake up very early in the morning and walk to Cocococha oxbow lake accompanied with our guide. It is a hike of about 5 ˝ kms. On the way we will have the opportunity to observe plants, exotic insects, colorful butterflies, birds, monkeys and, with a bit of luck, perhaps we even see some of the large mammals. When approaching the lake we will hide in a strategic hiding place and we will wait the otters to appear to be observed. While waiting we will take the chance to have a refreshment. Canoes will be available for us to go for a short ride around the lake watching the wildlife on the shoreline. Back at the lodge we will have a light lunch quite late in the afternoon. After lunch we will have a couple of hours available to get ready for the Ayahuasca session. Afterwards we will meet the Shaman in charge of the ceremony. This is the best moment to make all the questions and clear the queries we might have . At dinner time we are not going to have dinner but instead will get ready for the magic ritual of Ayahuasca which lasts about 3 to 5 hours. Overnight at EI.

Day 3: After breakfast we will meet the Shaman once again and we will share our experiences from the previous night with him. He will answer and explain to us everything related to the ceremony. We will spend the rest of the morning visiting the local community farms, the closest ones to the lodge. When returning to the lodge we will have lunch late in the afternoon. After that we will do a short hike towards the Sunset Point with our guide to observe the beautiful sunset of the jungle. Before dinner we will board the canoe once again to look for and watch caimans on the shoreline. Back in the lodge we will have dinner with our guide and the naturalistic residents.

Day 4: We will be woken up very early and have breakfast to board the canoe to return to Puerto. Maldonado. On the way we will watch the unforgettable dawn in the jungle on the Tambopata River. Once in Puerto Maldonado we will be transferred to the airport to take our return flight.

End of our services.
